Problems with a Panny TX47PT10

Hello all...I was wondering if anybody could help me.I purchased a Panasonic TX47PT10 RPTV last November, all was going fine with it until June of this year. I noticed that the convergence on the left hand side of the screen was drifting and no matter what I did to re-align it I would get awful red and green fringing, especially with bright images. I sent it to the official Panasonic Ireland service centre to be sorted..when I got it back three weeks later the picture was perfect again although I noticed when I was toggling through the scan options (100Htz,Auto and Progessive scan) in the picture menu that convergence was completely gone when switched to Progressive scan. If I try and re-align the picture in Progressive scan will it effect the picture in Auto and 100htz modes...any help would be greatly appreciated.
