I have a new TV, it has SANYO CE28WN6-B

2 scarts rear
audio red/white on rear
tv ariel

front
headphones
audio and video jacks

I want to run my

GC
VCR
SKY+
DVD

through my TV, I have my amp set up on GC,SKY+ and DVD.

I have a Yamaha amp and play everthing apart from the vcr through it.

That sounds mighty fine.

Oh? You wanted help to connect it all? You don't say what connections your AV equipment have, so it's a bit difficult.

Assuming the all have SCARTs and the DVD and VCR have loop throughs:

GC -> DVD -> TV
SKY+ -> VCR -> TV

For GC, you should be using an RGB cable (note early 3rd party RGB cables were not in fact RGB cables) and this also assumings your TV has 2 RGB SCARTs and that you don't want to videotape your DVDs

If you only have 1 RGB, get a SCART splitter. If you have none, get a new tV.

My story so far
My TV is supposed to NTSC compatable

I put my DVD into scart 1
I put my SKY+ into scart 2
I put my phonos for my GC into AV3, on front of my telly.
Will try and get my VCR sorted soon, anyway....

My region 1 DVD's would play intermittent in black/white>colour, 2 second gap.
I got frustrated, anyhow I plugged my DVD into the back of sky+ instead of scart 1, the piscture is perfect
I have the problem with my GC, I put the red,white,yellow into the front of the TV, but the screen keeps flicking to and throw between colour and black/white on 3 games, they are

Super smash melee...ntsc
Resident Evil............ntsc
Zelda ocarina of time.....Pal

I think zelda runs at 60mhz, perhaps thats the reason it will not work correctly, but the other 2 titles should work, as my TV is ntsc compatable.
I am using free loader for my ntsc GC games.
All my other games, which are PAL, work fine.

Any ideas ?

Make sure your SKY is off when playing GC. In fact, make sure all other components are off.
