JVC 28/32P37 DIST Component Connection Q

Hi,

Following recommendations on some of the threads here, and shopping around, I've orderED a JVC28p37 from Allders, which is due to arrive (hopefully) by the end of the week. Bought it as I want prog scan playback with DVD, and am not too impressed with the performance vs price ratio of LCDs and Plasmas.

Question I have is this. I'm aware, from reviews and comments, that the DIST system works better with HQ connections. Now, my Yammpy amp can upscale video and s-video signals to component for output. Does anyone know if upscaled component would be better through DIST than a regular scart RGB connection (for Freeview STB) or S-video VCR replay?
