with regards to the bright streak running down my screen, its to do with an upconverter "some people see it some dont".
Toshiba say its fine andd within their limits supplyer dont want to know!!

iv learnt a lesson, tell me how bad does a picture have to get before it not normal?

I am having problems with a toshiba 36zp38 where the tube blew after just 14 months, and i received a really bad repair. I don't think I will ever buy another toshiba tv. I always bought panasonic before and will go back to them. My old 29" panny is still going strong after 10 years never gone wrong.
