JVC TV switching to standby whilst watching

HI I'm wondering if anyone can help with a problem that's started on my JVC AV32R25EKS TV before I go to Costco and the 3 year warranty! In the last couple of days the TV has taken to suddenly switching itself to standby whilst being watched. Turning it back on with the remote works until a while later it will suddenly do it again. Anyone got any suggestions as to the cause? thanks! Marty
