50Hz or 100Hz

Hi All,

I have also been looking at the JVC HV32D40 and it has some impressive specification but seems to be 50Hz.
I would be interested to hear from the forum whether this is a disadvantage in what otherwise seems to be a really good spec.
I am hoping to use this to connect to a PC for both viewing DVD's and recording to a hard drive. Any comments much appreciated.

The HV-32D40 is actually 75Hz. It's a halfway house designed to reduce the flicker that some people don't like on 50Hz sets and the processing artefacts that afflict many 100Hz sets.

This recent thread contains several opinions on the set.
