Prog Scan CRT for under £1k?

Gonna pick up my first prog scan capable DVD player tommorrow (Pioneer 575) and wanna look into getting a decent TV to make use of it. My current 4 year old 32" Panny is on its way out.

Somebody recommended me the Panny TX32PD30 which I can get for a shade over a grand, but reviews seem to be quite mixed.

Anybody recommend a worthwhile alternative? (32" prog scan crt)

There's a 36" Panasonic with a list price of £1100 that should creep in under a grand that has been well reviewed of late and the JVC DIST 32" should be well under your limit.

The Tosh 36ZP38 are going for about a grand - I think that's good value

e.g. Here

I got mine from sound and vision and I'm very pleased with it although you need some space to put it in
