JVC HV-36P38 £999 at Currys. Any Good ?

Just saw one of these Sets at Currys at the ridiculous price of £999.

Has anyone got one, whats it like ?.

I may be getting one for use mainly as a games telly (Xbox and PS2), which is a bit over the top I know but for this price who cares.

I have had a 32P37 which I had to return due to an RGB problem but it was a fantastic TV, awesome picture quality. Does anyone know of any RGB problems with the £36". (horizontal lines !)

Any info would be appreciated.

I have one of these.
With my unit I have no RGB problems but PQ is way worse than component so if your consoles can output it, use it.
I have my set connected to the PC through the component input and once you adjust gamma games are great, I don't play that much but TACOPS in 16:9 looks great, also COD.
the only flaws I found on mine are a slight geometry distortion when watched in 4:3 with black bars on the sides and some "dirty screen" effect, but neither too annoying.
Cheers
