Urgent: 51wh36 Order

I am going to order the 51WH36 Toshiba RPTV tommorow from Digital Direct or Sound and Vision. I have some questions to ask and please can you answer them in a 1, 2, 3 form etc?

1. What store is better for returns/has better customer service incase something should go wrong: Digital Direct or Sound and Vision?

2. I hear that there is a 51WH38 RPTV to replace the 51WH36 tv soon, what the the main new features, german page link somewhere please?

3. Does this tv box arrive on wheels?

4. How many men does it take to lift this tv out of its box and move it into position?

5. What does a good bitrate freeview channel e.g. BBC ONE look like on this set?

6. What does a BBC ONE look like on Sky?

7. What does MTV look like on Sky?

8. How long is it safe to leave an image on static before screen burn in occurs?

Please answer these questions because I don't want to spend like £1400 on a tv and mess up or have it replaced by a much better model soon!
Please answer!

Re.. 4. i know that digital direct expects you to help the delivery guy. i don't know if this applies to huge deliveries like this though.

tvandvideodirect and soundandvision use two man specialist crews. check the t&c/info/help section on the actual web page you buy from to find out.

2: The only difference I know of is the inclusion of dolby digital sound, which doesn't mean much if you already have a surround sound set up

Well, judging on their past TV's, the TV has a built in decoder AND they supply the speakers, but, a dedicated surround sound set up will always sound better.

I have a 57wh36.
That has wheels, and it took 2 of us to lift out of the box. Once out of the box 1 person can push it around with ease.
BBC1 via sky is for the most of time very good. There is the odd program thats looks 'grainy' but in whole its spot on. Actually all the major sky channels are good including MTV.
I have no idea how long a static image would take to burn onto the screen but my kids play their xbox/ps2 with no problems.
I have the brightness set at 35 to help reduce any chance of screen burn and it's still bright enough for daytime viewing.
All in all I'm very impressed with the set. I did a service menu convergance and focusing just so I knew I was getting the best picture possible, but even without that I was impressed.
Hope this helps.
Mike

Does anyone know where you can buy the stand for this TV ?

I must admit I am finding it very difficult deciding between this and a plasma.
