sound/menu problem with 36ZD26

Hi all,

got a weird problem, sometimes when i turn my 36zd26 on, it degauses but isnt as loud, it will then take about 5/6 seconds longer to fade the picture in and i wont have sound and the menu is painfully slow to do anything (use menu or even changing the channel)

When this happens the timer will start flashing on the front of the TV after its been on for a few mins.

any ideas?
