i have a crt 32ins. samsung tv
model ws32z419d(r)
code32z419d8xxeu
type0z32z41
it has frozen up on freeview nothing works on the freeview side.. analog is ok
any ideas what can be done

Try retuning the digital side.

bit i am not able to access anything on the digtal set up side of tv or can you tell me how to ?

Press TV/DTV button and select DTV
Press D.Menu button
Down Arrow to Channel
Right Arrow to Autostore.

but will not respond nothing happens?

Ok, try this, press the following buttons.
Menu
Setup
Enter
Plug & Play
Enter
This should reset the TV and tune in all Digital and Analogue Channels

went through the plug and play set up. it retuned the analog channels only, .
i switched tv to dtv to check the channel that was frozen it was now watchable but not able to change channel and the writen info stayed on went back to analog then back to dtv
and the channel was frozen again?

Just wondering which dig channel you are stuck on as us pace digi box owners are currently suffering lock up issues.

its stuck on the virgin channel it is an inbuilt freeview reciever i think the problem started when doing a system update and then it was interupted part way through.
i would like to take it back to factory settings when first installed.hopefully this would sort it.
