I've had my set for 3 months now and I must say I think the picture is superb - certainly the best 36" CRT I have seen - but you really need a digital source to get the best out of it - analogue transmissions look really poor compared to those from the Pace Twin (connected via RGB scart). I have not had any of the "crushing" or other problems that have been mentioned apart from this: the DVD player is connected with component leads and on NTSC Region 1 discs only (NOT PAL Region 2) I get a vertical line about 1-2" wide on the RHS of the screen where the picture is distorted - I can only describe it like the edge of a mirror distorting the image. I have tried going into the service menu to fix it by altering the H-POS value but it just makes it worse - anyone any ideas? Any help would be gratefully accepted. P.S. If I connect via RGB scart the problem disappears.
