Just bought a Plasma Panasonic 37PX10 -thats my justification for posting on this thread.(bigger audience of techy geniuses)

My old Panny CRT 28"
Whilst it was still my main tv ,recently now and then it would turn itself off.(the freeview box mentioned below was never connected - but does work on a diff tv)
Moved tv it into lads bedroom.
Wii connected =plays for ever
Insert Scart for freeview box(any slot and with or without Wii connected) Tv goes into standby usually within seconds.(Only goes off when i select the fview box AV channel.)
Wii never causes tv to go off.


Just tried TV with nothing connected whatsover
Tried freeview box with 2 different SCART leads and all AV slots
Not overheating cos TV not been on at all today and within 10 seconds of selecting viewing correct AV chnl it goes into standby.

Any help greatly received.

Ask a mod to move this to the Crt forum.
It has nothing to do with Plasma TVs.
