Hi my 5yr old crt Sharp has just stopped working. Was ok in the morning, switched it off, switched back on later, and No picture,No sound, just static noise from rear!!

Any ideas anyone? Is it terminal?
Please advise 'cos I'm skint!!

Although you did`nt provide the complete model no for the set, it sounds like a faulty line output transformer that is giving you the problem.There are other possibilities of course, but the loptx is favourite.You need an engineer to check it out as its not a diy repair.
