Thomson 40KW613 convergence

Hi,

I bought a Thomson 40KW613 a week ago.
I absolutely love it and the Progressive scan mode is really excellent, right contrast levels and brightness settings provided you really get a very vivid and clear Picture and i even got rid of
the white haloing rings with a little bit of tweaking.

However i have a slight problem with the convergence, seems to be the red. No matter what i tried there always remains a slight
imbalance which results in a narrow band on the left hand side
that makes the picture drift into a slight but noticeable green
tint (where it should be yellow)

Has anybody here seen this TV and if so does it have the same problem and how can i possibly achieve a more balanced convergence.

Would appreciate any help ,

Ok, i've found the service menu, playing around with the convergence at the moment as the default settings went exactly back to what i had before,

there are many, many many grid points to be adjusted....
hope the result will be great after that....

cya,

thx

P.S. Having read demons tutorials i wonder if theres a service
mode where you can adjust convergence, seems that all the Tosh
users who have done this are quite happy, does anyone know
the way to get into the service meu on the THomson?

cheers,

Bernd
