Question Loewe Aconda 40". Worth £2499?

Hi all.

I was wondering if any of you had tried the Loewe Aconda 40".
If yes, how would you rate it (compared to a 36" Panasonic, Philips or Toshiba), and would it be worth £2499?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, ch.

I take it "Soft picture" means softer than 36" models by other companies.

£2499 is getting into decent 42" Plasma money! £2800 is so 40" CRT looking expensive and they are enormous!

Well, I own one of those Lowes.
There are now to buy for rond 3.000 Euro in Germany. (I payed more.) I like it very much and will use it several years more and then probably replace by a lcd-screen.
If the price is right (low) I would it still buy.

Thank you all for your replies.

The more I think about it, the less it feels worth it.
I'm probably gonna stick to getting a decent 36" for half the price.
