Missing part of picture on Pana's

I've got a 32" widescreen curved Panasonic (sorry can't remember the model) and I've noticed that I can't read the scrolling bars at the bottom of certain chaneels (very noticeable on Sky Sports with score updates). I can go through all the aspect modes but it's only really 4:3 which i can actually read the entire bar on, but obviously i'm not going to watch everything through 4:3 on a widescreen.

It's not just mine either. A few of my friends have widescreen Pana's (all different models) and they encounter the same problem.

Is this something I can fix, a fault or just something I have to live with?

Cheers in advance.

Overscan may need adjusting in the service menu. Have a look around for codes to get in if you are up for braving the service menu!
