Attention all 36'' pd30 owners

I have made my buying desicion and cant wait to order my pd30.

I have just had a thought though. Have any of you had to dispose of the stand as it seems that the height and width of the shelves will not accomadate the higher end of amps/dvd players.

Is there any kind soul out there who could measure the distance between the shelves and the internal width so that i could check if my kit will fit side by side.
