JVC AV-28E50SK goes blue

I have a 28" JVC digital TV - model AV-28E50SK. When it is switched on it is OK for a short time but then the picture just goes totally blue. The sound continues as normal but the screen is blue. if it is switched off and then on again it is OK for a minute or so but soon reverts to the all blue screen. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how I go about getting it fixed?
Thanks

Sambow,

You could try degaussing it. Switch off, unplug and leave for an hour then try again. If you leave the set on stand-by it never gets a chance to do it automatically

Thanks Gammy but that doesn't help - it has been unplugged for hours but still turns blue after it has been on for a while.

Sounds like a hardware issue, would get it serviced, or get a quote for servicing, could be anything..
Ask for a quote, this way you don't spend too much on getting it fixed, might be time to up grade..

Sambow,

Does the blue screen appear when using all inputs or just one, eg scart cable from digibox. You may have a cable breaking down. This happened to me a couple of years ago except my screen used to go green. Turned out that the scart was u/s.
