I've got one, a real cheapo that works perfectly fine - it's auto, meaning no switches, so whichever of the attached devices is switched on, that one's transmitted to the TV, which is great for me because I have two identical PVRs connected which I toggle with the one remote control. But I can't find it on sale, there's an Argos switched one with good reviews but it doesn't say how long the cable is I had a look on eBay for you - this switched one has 45cm cable ... EDIT - what am I thinking of?! I translated 45cm into three-quarters of a metre - this has been the snag - either they don't specify the length or it's too short I thought I'd found a bargain for you.

By the way, if you do go looking for yourself, don't be too impressed by "gold plating" - I have it on good authority that gold makes no perceptible improvement in picture quality.

Argos do a few in the £10-20 range - they all seem to be the manual switching type.

The cables aren't often that long - they tend to be just long enough to reach from a typical TV stand to the floor, so probably <1m.

Here's a Belkin one for £14-odd - doesn't say how long the cable is though :

Buy Belkin 3 to 1 Scart Block. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .
