Hi I've had this tv for a while, and surprisingly I've used it very little, now a few weeks ago I tried to turn it on but it would just sound like its starting up, then it would click and the standby light would flash red, wait a few seconds, and then flash red 3 times again....

I called in a tech, he came over, and then when I went to show him what the problem was, the tv turned on as if nothing was wrong, and it seemed to work just fine....

but then when he left, it did the same thing again..what could be wrong? The thing is it was turn on, but when I went to move the table back (with the tv on the table) it just turned off, as if the power cable moved somehow and is loose inside and it turned off, I dont know if that is the issue or if according the red light flashing the lamp is the issue...

any help please?

It's probably the lamp switch. Try to take the lamp off the tv-set and re-install it. Instructions to do so are in the owner manual...
