Westrn Digital WD TV Media Player

I accessed a menu while setting up which seemed to offer options on screen resolution. I selected highest one on offer and now my TV screen ( Samsung hi def connected HDMI ) shows only " mode not suported " and I cannot access menu to go back to "auto" resolution. Unit will reset using side switch, but recycles back to same " mode not supported " screen display. What can I do?

Try using the "search this forum" utility/pulldown in the network/media streamers section of these forums :
Streamers & Network Media Players - AVForums.com (to see if anyone else found similar issues).

There are several threads there dedicated to the WDTV.
If that still doesn't help, post a plea for help in that section.
