SONY KDF-E50A12U Channel source label on all time

Has anyone had this problem. the label/graphic for the AV source is permanently on IE: AV1-1 (top left hand corner). It use to disappear after a 1 or 2 seconds. I've gone through the manual and the TV's menu but can't seem to be able to switch it off. Very annoying

Have you tried pressing the Info button on the remote control (under the number 7 key).
