Hi Guys

I have had a sony KDFE50A12 for about 3 years now. Recently the bulb went so I ordered a new one. That was at the end of June.

Everything was great and the image so much brighter and clearer. Anyway, a couple of days ago the bulb blew again. I have a new bulb on order, but I want to rule out any possibility that the new bulb blew because of any cooling issues.

When the TV is on there was no noticeable heat coming from it, and you can hear the fans as normal.

So my question to you guys is, is it heard of for a bulb to blow so quickly? And how do I go about checking the cooling fans to ensure they are working?
