Cool lg 44sz21rd

hello, i have a lg 44sz21rd lcd rear projection tv, the tv turns on for a few minutes then the picture starts to flicker and it goes onto standby. what i want to know is if the bulb is on its way out will it still light up then go out after a few minutes? and also will a knackered buld make the tv lose sound and go into standby mode? plus when i turn it on it makes a weird beeping sound is this right? any help with this would be grtefully recieved. cheers, jerry

Hi,
There were posts about this years ago, I think a board had to be changed, you will have to do a search but not sure how far they will go back. I have the same TV, had about 5/6 yrs now and still enjoy the pictures it throws out.
