Ok so basically this is my TV

57" Toshiba Rear Projection HDTV

only difference i guess is that my tv is 52 inch and is "HD ready" according to my mom (who bought it). all i know is its HD ready and i bought it around 2003 or something

When i look at its input settings it shows this.

Ant 1(cable)
Input 1
Input 2
Input 3 (Ps3)
Colorstream HD1
Colorstream HD2
Ant 2(not cable)

the first color stream has a dvd player connected to it
So is colorstream hd different from regular HD?

I really want to try HD for my ps3 but i dont understand these stuff. My skills dont wander off to TV settings haha.

Question:

Will the PS3's HD work on my TV or not?
If so, What cables should i buy?
Will it be easy to connect the cables to the ps3? (i.e. like the regular input)

and If possible can anyone show me a beginners guide to these stuff?

and what are the settings should i put on my PS3

i have had my rear proj toshiba 10 years and never a fault....
i never knew toshiba even made r/proj hd tellies!!

Your link doesn't work. If you can tell us the model number (usually found on the back of the TV) we may be able to help.

I have a Toshiba HD Ready DLP Rear projection. Excellent TV.

donkey ,, do they sell toshiba rear proj hd in the main stores like currys etc,, this really is confusing me mate ,, i have a toshiba 48" rear proj standard for 10 years!! ?

Toshiba aren't making them any more as far as I know. Mine is about 4-5 years old now, it's a 46WM48P.
