LG 42LH7000 vs LG 50PS3000

Hello,
First post!
Just wanted some advice about a purchase I've been thinking over and this forum keeps popping up whenever I research any TV! :P

I want to buy a LG 42LH7000 (42" LCD) or LG 50PS3000 (50" Plasma).

Will be used for:
1. Laptop permanently connected (dvi but have dvi to hdmi cable) for divx videos, hd videos, photos, internet surfing, youtube etc.
2. Xbox 360 gaming (prob 80% of the all tv usage).
3. Movies via laptop (divx) or dvds via xbox 360 or the occasional blue ray via connected laptop.

I'll be viewing from about 2 meters usually but occasionally to 4-5meters when laying in bed watching a movie for example.

The style and design is also somewhat important. I like the slim design of the lh7000. I'm not sure how much thicker the plasma is??

Is the whole screen burn issue with plasmas a big issue considering my xbox and laptop usage?

Any advice about which TV would be the best in my situation would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

Re: LG 42LH7000 vs LG 50PS3000

So I just popped into Dixons today and was able to compare the LG 42LH7020 and a LG 50PS3000.

Although I think the LCD picture was a bit brighter and sharper I definitely noticed the stuttering on fast moving scenes on the LCD and the comparable smoothness of the plasma.

Also after seeing a 50" screen I'm finding it hard to convince myself to buy a 42" :P so I'm definitely leaning toward the plasma.

Does anyone know any reason I should go for the LCD? I'm still worried about screen burn since the primary use of the TV will be games, computer and some movies.

Opinions?
