Panny tx28ps1 green tint :(

My new tv is only 24hrs old, and i've been trying to get a dvd to play in ntsc. Everything on screen just looks very green.

I tried turning the tint down, but it changes nothing whatsoever for some reason.

When playback is in PAL, the picture is perfect.

DVD is connected via RGB scart to AV1

Any ideas guys??

TIA

Paul.

Try another scart lead maybe?

Could this be the 'known' Panny RGB fault? Do a search here for DVCO

There are threads about the Panny problem.....can't remember if green NTSC was one of them...

Aparantly the tint control has no effect when using NTSC RGB??

Have you tried another scart, or another player?

I've tried another scart, but not another player yet. I could do that tomorrow.

It seems very odd that the tint control does nothing at all.
