Changing factory defaults of Philips widescreen TV

Is it possible to change a default factory setting of a Philips widescreen TV?
My preferences for the picture settings are rather different from one of the pre-programmed settings of my Philips 28PW9527. Unfortunately, the “Personal' setting can not be saved, so I want to change e.g. the 'Natural' setting.

Entering/finding a specific item through the (OSD) menu can be rather complicated (when there is not a 'short cut' button on the remote control) and the graphical menu is terribly slow.
Does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the menu and set some items directly by sending some sequence of keys (with the RC)?

Note. If this kind of information can be found in the Service Manual, please let me know. In that case I will (probably) buy such a manual.

You can set your own Personal settings from Natural.Just press Store in the Picture Menu, which should be at the bottom.

Thanks for your response, Wayne.
But a 28PW9527 (with chassis EM5E) does not have a Store button in the user menu. There is a Store option in the Service Menu, but not for storing the picture settings like Contrast, Brightness, Color, etc.
When I set 'Smart picture' to e.g. 'Natural' and when I make the "mistake" to change one of the related settings, then the 'Personal' settings are overwritten by the actual settings (the modified 'Natural' settings).
Note. Of course I've saved (on paper) my favourite settings for easy restoring the 'Personal' settings.
