Laptop & Toshiba Issue - Video Auto Stretch

Hi all,

I've recently set up my 32" Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB with my Acer laptop using a DVI-HDMI cable, which works great.

The only issue I have is when I watch videos on my laptop. When I load up a video it automatically stretches to full screen on the LCD (I have tried this with both Media Player Classic and WMP 9). The navigation and menu bars disappear, so if I need to FFWD, pause, etc I have to open up the laptop display...The video stays there until I close the application...I've searched this forum and Google'd as best I could, but couldn't see any mention of this elsewhere.

I have the screen set to 'clone' and my laptop has an nVidia GPU if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any help!
