Hi Guys,

I bought one of these televisons in 2005 and mine has broken down on me.

A few people have said its a bulb but I am not sure.

Basicly there are two lights on my televison one light that is the On and Off (stand by) Switch and the light that when the bulb is going that light flashes.

Well when I switch the televison on now, it powers up as if somthing is going to happen the screen remains black and then after a while the on and off light flashes red and green (green is when its on red when its on standby) and no picture or sound comes on the screen.

Should I just sell it as faulty or is it worth repairing?

It is a 50 LCD rear projection televison.

I need help.

I have the 60inch version.

had simlar problem (cannot recall whether was flashing red/green or only red), when pc was connected via vga. when I disconnected the pc, the tv would start up. then I could plug in pc without prob.

hope this helps, at least worth a try.

regarding resale value, I would think less than 20P worth, mate, as it is old technology..
