Degauss Tv's

Hi everyone,
Just wondering is there any need to degauss TV,s. If so how? I have a sony 32fx somthing or the other

AFAIAA all TV's degauss themselves when you turn them on

All TVs have built in degauss circuits which will fire when the set is swiched on from cold. Some, but not all, will also fire when switched on from standby. Manual degaussing should not be necessary unless the set has been subjected to extreme magnetism, such as a speaker very close to the face of the tube.
