Rear Projection question

I have recently purchased (Second hand) a Sony rear projection (Model KP 41S3U). The actual set is immaculate, however the picture looks cloudy. I have set the convergence up in the menu and that looks ok. Anybody got any suggestions.

On looking further into the problem. It looks like on brighter colours especially yellows and whites, there is a fair amount of bleed going on. Again any ideas or will I just have to call out the local Sony geezer to charge me an arm and a leg to tell me it won't get any better.

Managed to get into the service menu using the old prog + and prog - while turning on the power but its all TT codes. Found the ones for testing the R G & B (which were all fine) but didn't dare go any further in case I really screwed it up. Does anyone have a list of the TT codes for this model.

KP 41

Cheers.
