28ZD26 to Canada

My fellow humankind...

I purchased the ZD26 last year and we are expecting to emigrate to Canada next year. I have a good size dvd collection (mostly R2) and 3 PAL gaming consoles (I have 3 kids, so no snickering!) with a decent investment in PAL games. My question to your collective ken is this:

Is it better for me to sell the TV and buy a PAL/NTSC converter or to ship the TV and use a cable box/video as a tuner? When added to the rest of the goods, shipping costs about £30 for the tele. I expect to fetch about £400-£450 for the tele next spring.

Muchos apreciados

As a matter of interest, does your 28ZD26P support progressive scan on your PAL consoles ? Does it make a difference to the picture quality ? Whats the best connection to use (s-video/scart etc.) ?
