Sony KV28FX68U - Broke!

I have only had this set for 3 months and it has failed! The TV just goes into standy and the standby LED is flashing twice.

I called John Lewis yesterday lunchtime as the TV has a 5 year warranty and so far I haven't heard a thing

I AM NOT HAPPY!
