Unhappy Help new TV...

Hi,

I recently recieved a toshiba 32z33b television and the picture is slightly fuzzy. I have mainly used it for games so far but the picture on regular TV is not so great either. I'm not bothered about the TV part (my aerial connection isnt very good) mostly the games, but do you think this could be down to poor cables? My PS2 scart cable is RGB but was only a cheap one, so maybe it would be a good idea to buy a better quality one. If anyone can recommend any then I would be most grateful. I havent got my DVD player yet and am kind of worried that the picture will be bad even when i get that .

If anyone could spare a moment to help me I'd be very grateful.

Thanks,

Chris.

My theory is that its a bigger TV so you can see the imperfections more but im still not sure though.

Thanks again

dont you have YUV component connections on your telly, if so might want to invest in a Prog scan PS2 (if TV will cope)

Just out of interest how far away from the TV are you sitting? With a 32" you should be at least 9 foot away to get the best picture. Maybe thats not helping?

Hi k0rcha

As a matter of interest, where did you get your 32z33B? I ordered one from empiredirect way back in September but haven’t heard from them yet. I phoned Toshiba last week and they said they would be available in early December. Mind you, I’m a bit worried about the picture quality now (should have tried before I buyed but it did seem like a good offer)…

By the way, www.fillyourboots.com do a nice range of IXOS cables at discount prices. I don’t think they list a PS2 lead but it may be worth sending them an email.

Anyway if/when I get mine I’ll let you know what the PQ is like.

Cheers,

Chris B

Good luck with your order. Theres nothing worse than not knowing when its gonna come

P.S Thanks again dragon.
