Hi,

I have connected the scart from the DVD to the TV according to manuals but I don´t get the RGB-signal. What can I do to receive the RGB-signal, is it a setting in a menu on the TV?

Any help much apreciated!!

There might be a setting in the DVD's menu to set the output to RGB. If not then maybe your cable is not so good? I dont know.

i dont get a signal either check your rgb menu the rgb setting will only be accesable if a rgb signal is being recieved by the tv

do you have a scart with 20 pins? RGB-signal needs this kind of scart to work.

I have this set until this morning(it's going back due to contrast flickering and I hate the picture quality).

You can check if the signal is RGB by going into the menu and selecting the RGB set-up(or something like that).

If you can't change the settings such as moving the screen, you aren't inputting a RGB signal.

I suspect you are though as the AV icons don't display the 3 dots in the square for RGB signals, don't no why.

The cable has 20 pins so it shouldnt be the problem. I cant move the picture in the RGB setting so that would indicate i dont have the RGB signal then. I´ll check the DVD-menus then and see what happens.

While not wishing to wee on your fire, RGB only leads have,iirc, only 6 terminals connected.

daniel.a, on your remote handset, key the setup button (½ way down on the left), choose RGB from the video out select option.Now ensure that an RGB enabled socket is used on the Sony and toggle through the choices till you come to the RGB sign.You should be able to view an RGB PAL display now.

Scart 1&2 on your tv accept an RGB input.
