It took a while before I had a reply but I got an acceptance email eventually. Just waiting for it to arrive though.

What did you guys write on your email?

I've sent one over a week ago just asking for information didnt include receipt etc... and got no response.

i rang them up to find out whats happening and the lady on the phone told me they arent allowed to tell people but send receipt off to a lady named Laura Napier with my receipt.

This is my last receipt as others went with warrenty etc...

I would prefer do a proper email.

Hi all, after reading on here about you guys who had brought a 3D TV and blu-ray player prior to the Avatar offer asking to be considered for the free Avatar - I sent off my receipts attached to an email.

Just received a reply asking for paper copies to be posted or faxed as their email systems stripped the attachments!

So, it looks like they will be sending me a copy of Avatar 3D 28 days after receipt! So many thanks to AV Forums - I wouldn't have known to ask Panasonic if it wasn't for reading these forums.

PS - sent mine to Laura Napier as above comment - copies are acceptable.

Hi Guys

I rang panasonic about the Avatar and when these will be shipped out to existing customers. The guy i spoke simply asked are you an existing customer requiring Avatar 3d then you should have them after 45 days of us receiving the receipt, so they are obviously prioritising to new customers. It's not the news i wanted to hear. The guy i spoke to sounded peed off as i am sure he gets many calls like this. Fingers crossed we all receive this before xmas.

I have tv and player on order, can I simply send copy of my email now with the form, ie no serial numbers etc are needed. Also if I have to wait until feb for my player I might get the samsung bdc5900 will the panasonic disc work in that?

the disc should work in any 3D BD player

Hi Guys just wanted to let you all know that i have finally received my copy of Avatar 3D. My friend also sent his receipt by email a week after mine and he also received his copy today. I think they are finally sending these out.

All i can say is persevering pays off.

The amount of detail is unreal
The 3d makes everything feel so solid and real
The depth is amazing, great sound to

if thats the case then most people will get a copy.

@ polygon_monkey, read back a page or 2, there is an email address, if you send a scan of your receipt you are eligible for Avatar, but not the other 3 discs i think..

How long did it take from confirmation until delivery?

I sent my reciept etc..by mail about a week ago..I'm a new Panny customer..any idea when i will hear something etc...?

I've never had a confirmation email. I sent my receipts about a month ago should I resend them, all i got was a reference number and to send my receipts to them as I brought my TV and Blu Ray at the end of October?

I bought the Bl-ray player and TV seperately in May and July. I emailed several times before I had a reply and have had 3 seperate replies confirming I would receive a copy. I even received an email yesterday even though I've already received the disc, I don't expect another copy sending.
Just keep emailing and you should get a reply eventually.

sent loads of emails, and got the reply that they do not do the redemption by email, and that i need to download the voucher and send it in by post, which i have done 2 weeks ago

I also sent my redemption form via post and still heard nothing from them to say its been received or being processed. My brother sent an email with his receipt to claim for just the avatar disk and he got a reply a week later.

Not sure whether to send another form in the post.
