Samsung LE40A656 versus Sony KDL40W4500
Any real problems which would definately put you off buying either one of them ?
Or are the differences minor.
Is the sony worth the extra £100 .

Thank you for your replies. But why is it so good.
Here are a few points
Input lag the Samsung LE40A656 is 60 ms slower than the W4000 which is the previous model to the 4500 Sony KDL40W4000U Bravia LCD HDTV Review .
How much of a difference does 60ms input lag make to a non gamer and what is the absolute figure for the samsung.
Also should i get one with a LED backlight as supposedly has a better color gamut [i.e color range].
Wonder how much of a difference the led backlight makes can the human eye detect it ?

led backlight improves black levels.as for the W4500 it offers better motionflow 100Hz system and more natural colours as well

looking into Samsung LE40A656 versus Sony KDL40W4500 the answer is the sony which is much better.

But how about

Samsung LE40A786 versus Sony KDL40W4500 this model of samsung has LED backlighting so should have a better color gamut and deeper black.

any thoughts thank you

the actual advantage is the black level for sure.otherwise there are some concerns about the A786 too,as there is input lag mainly but its also more expensive than W4500
