Re: Lg 37lg3000

the 1080p in this case means it will accept 1080p signals but downscales them

Re: Lg 37lg3000

Oh right ok, that seems a little bit pointless though? So it can accept them but won't display them? Would you not recommend it then?

cheers

It will display them, but not at a 1920x1080 resolution. It will just downscale it to its maximum native resolution, which is 1366x768. In other words, 1080p,1080i and 720p will look virtually the same on this tv. No benefit of 1080p over the others. You'd need a proper 1920x1080 panel for that.

Re: Lg 37lg3000

Thanks for your help . Decided I'm gonna stick to a 32" and just get one with a nice crisp picture rather than try and get an all singing all dancing larger tv thats dirt cheap but actually not very good.

Re: Lg 37lg3000

In reference to the link posted earlier, I have that tv (37LG5010) although I may be the only person who has!

For £660 I'd really go for it, the 'intelligent sensor' thing is a bit rubbish but bluray & games (PS3) look amazing!

Its a good looking tv (even my wife likes it!), the build quality seems excellent & unlike the sammy 6 series it really does do 1080/24. I bought it due to size & budget constraints but i don't regret a minute of it!
