40" 3D TV, ~£700 Budget

Hi, currently going mad comparing different TVs, decided to look for some help here. Was originally looking at last years Sony EX723, especially with reports of an upgrade helping with the 3D problems. However, the newer version has been taunting me and I'm now looking at the HX753. The 40" version is currently priced at £750 at Richer Sounds, which is a little more than I would like to pay really. Whilst looking for similar TVs, I came across the Samsung ES6300, £670 at Richer Sounds. For the £80 difference, I'm not quite sure what the big differences are (beside that if possible I always prefer Sony products).

So I'm looking for general advice really, and anything specific to those two models would be great. I use the TV for a lot of things so can't really talk specific needs, but will try and prioritise below.

1. 2D HD Films/TV (Blu rays, HTPC and Live TV)
2. 2D HD Games (PS3)
3. 3D HD Games (PS3)
4. Sports (Live TV)
5. 3D HD Films (Blu Rays, HTPC)
6. PC Usage (NOT HTPC, Normal PC)
7. SD DVDs, DVDRips (DVDs, HTPC)
7. SD TV (Live TV)

This is isn't exactly glowing feeedback for the Samsung SAMSUNG UE40ES6300 or UE40ES6710 Help Please

Go have a look at the two in decent AV retailers. Perhaps the Sony offers more features. Don't know if either are very good for 3D, 2011 models weren't the best as you say . £80 difference isn't really a lot if you'll keep the TV for a few years
