Can get it for £969 if I trade in any TV, which includes a 5 Year warranty from Panasonic.

The Pioneer I could of get has been refurb'd and has a dead pixel, which has put me off it.
Watch out for the CRT-like flicker. I've seen it occuring on the G10 in a couple of shops. I certainly wouldn't put up with it, especially if I was sitting 4 feet from it. I was considering a G10, but that put me right off.

I'll look out for any flickering, have you seen it when 600hz was turned off?

I don't think you can turn it off. It's part of the way plasmas create their pictures.

Im pretty sure you can, but then i have read so many reviews lately :S

In theory can get the 50" G10 for £800, by getting Currys to Pricebeat the RS Price, or i may not bother and get it from my local Hifi shop and get a 5 year warranty for £970....

600Hz on Panasonic plasma sets cannot be turned off. Intelligent Frame Creation can, but this is not the same thing.

the 600hz thing in the sony in not the same stuff used in the an LCD.

although they marketing it that way. it does not do MCFI.

plasmas simply dont need it.

just a fancy way to combat the LCD camp.

Another Twist.

I Have decided on the 42" G10, i can get it for £735 with a 5 year warranty in my local town, maybe even a little less, as im buying it at the same time as my Friend is getting the 50" And a surround sound, so might get a nice little discount

Cant wait for the weekend ^^
