After a low profile 26" (I think?) TV/monitor thing

Hi guys,

I've currently got a 22" LG TV sat next to my monitor that I use to watch TV shows on; either through the TV or over DivX stuff, but figure it could be worth an upgrade so that I can plug my Xbox 360 in and play on a screen a bit better than what I have now!

Just wondering what TV people would recommend? Preferably something as low profile as possible (it's going on my desk so I don't want something huge or heavy) and not massively expensive if at all possible - so maybe something from Samsung?

Thank you

Edit: Oh, and 'a 26" monitor next to a 22' one will look ridiculous and be really annoying!" is also a valid answer btw!

Tempted by the Samsung 450 - but it's only 50Hz which is bad for gaming, is that right?

Just looking around now - seems all 26" TVs are just 50Hz! Hmm. Maybe the Samsung could be a good one to go for after all?

No 50hz is better for gaming than 100hz which adds lag I believe - most people with 100hz TVs switch it off for gaming

Oh cripes! :D I never knew that. Thanks vickster

Any reason not to go for the Samsung 450 then? Would the LG (or a Toshiba, or a Sony?) be a better option?
