my mum is looking for a tv for my younger sister for xmas, she dont want to spend alot as she wants to get her other little bits too, she has seen a few recently which she asked me to look at, 1 in morrisons at £250 called neon, also looked at F&H on ebuyer and she has just rang me asking me about the 32" Alba HD Ready one in argos for £269.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives within the similar price bracket and screen size

Stay clear of those tv's as they will be poor tbh. Richer Sounds have the Toshiba 32AV615 for £280, well worth the extra few quid

just been onto richer sounds and also seen they have a Hitachi UT32MH70 for £249 and a Samsung LE32B350 for £280 i think

Yes, i would second that: stay away from these albas, neons, etc and stick to brands like sharp, toshiba, samsung, sony, lg etc

The Toshiba/Samsung ones mentioned are good choices for the price.
