I have to make the final choice.

My budget is around 500€

I narrowed the choice between only two models:

- LG 32LH3000
- Samsung LE32B550

The LG seems to have much contrast than Samsung, but the latter seems to be a better SD performer.

Which one do you suggest to purchase?

I've recently purchased a LE32B550 after reviewing many 32 inch LCDs. The LG that I did consider was the LH7000 model - for me the Samsung had better black levels. Also, with the calibration options available on the Samsung you can achieve a great picture for SD and HD viewing.

The LH7000 has better black levels and picture calibration options than the LH3000.
