PHILIPS 42PFL7423D/12 LCD TELEVISION vs PANASONIC TX-L42S10B

Hi, another very similar thread to those already posted, but I cant quite find an answer!

I'm upgrading from a 32" Samsung series 4, to a 42" 1080, I like Samsung, but the blacks … arent all that black and I understand I can get a better picture at a similar price. I have been eyeing up Panasonic, but somebody mentioned Philips and I am just not sure as to where I should go.

My budget is £650. Sound isnt an issue as I use my Cambridge Audio amp via the out.

I've been recommended these chaps;

Could anybody give me some advice?

Cheers
Pete
