hi there shutchinson9. i had the same dilemma. initially i had decided on buying the lg (good online reviews and a very passionate currys salesman), until I discovered the toshiba model. Given that they have the same characteristics (1080p, 100hz) the quality reputation of the japanese convinced me to go for the tosh, rather than the korean lg. Furthermore, with the cashback offer by toshiba, it comes 50 quid cheaper than the lg. for me it's a no brainer. i'm buying next week when i come back to the uk...
