Looking to get an HDTV - i got a lot of questions

1. Would a 1080p native TV display a 720p image worse than a 720p native TV? This is important because for me, video games come first. Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 are native 720p so i want them to look their best.

2. What size is recommended with a sitting distance of 5-7 feet(again, with gaming in mind)

3. How is Toshiba? I love Sony and Samsung but i've seen good deals on their sets, should i consider one?

4. With a budget of $500-$650, what Tv would you recommend(keeping your answers to my questions in mind).

Thanks guys!

Re: Looking to get an HDTV - i got a lot of questions

1. You won't notice the difference no

2. 40 or 42" would be the recommended size for viewing full hd content

3. The latest Toshiba models perform well and are good value for money so consider them yes

4. It's hard to know what equivalent models are available (are you in the US?). You might have to look for smaller sets on your budget but try the Toshiba RV635 or LG LH30 which is supposed to be a good set for gaming.
