Question tv choice

im looking to buy a new tv in the next week or two,
budget is £600ish/40"-42"/to be used with x-box 360+sky.
ive got a few in mind.
sony 40s5500
lg42lh4000
sam le40b550
is there anything i should avoid or something else i should
look at

The lg or samsung would be my choice, the sony is based on older technology (Bravia 2 Engine rather than Bravia 3). If you're going to be doing mostly gaming then I'd go for the LG, otherwise the samsung would probably be better, mainly due to the better blacks and colours that set gives.

Samsung sound is notoriously bad if that's a concern

Also consider the Toshiba 42XV635, £100 cashback from certain retailers, seems popular on here (1080p, 100hz)
