advice where to place plug sockets for wall mounting plasma(new build)

Hi there,

So just about to get electrics fitted for a new build. I intend to mount my 50 inch plasma but want to cables to stay hidden away.

There's plaster board being put straight over brick wall so no option to thread cables down etc

So will there be space to have the plugs/aerial socket behind the tv? Does it matter where the sockets are put as I want the mount to be dead centre? I want to put 3-4 glass shelves underneath it for the ps3, av receiver etc, (also, does anyone know of any nice shelves which hide any cables?). So will there be space to run the power cables from the shelves to behind the tv?

Guess it falls out of this forum but I also intend on running speaker wall plates around the room behind the plaster board with a main 7.1 plate. So any advice where to put this or any general suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot (I'm UK based btw)
